You ROCKED my class yesterday. I was so impressed at your ability to dance nonstop for 2 hours with all of your energy. Thank you for taking the time to come to Carson. You really inspired me as a teacher and I know my students absolutely loved it.

Doris Angela Maria radiates passion for dancing, she is dancing personified. Watching her dance is pure joy. Her passion, energy and love of dance wash over you and you will feel inspired to dance like you never have before. Of course she teaches you the steps and moves and does this wonderfully, breaking them down, adjusting the pace of learning to the class. But she teaches you so much more. From her you will learn that dancing is more than steps and moves, it is first about connecting with the music and your partner, about dancing from within. Her concern for her students goes beyond that of a teacher, or perhaps it’s of a teacher in the truest sense: she wants to give as much of her love of dance to you as you can absorb. Her classes are fun, relaxed, joyful, and feel like family. And this is all because of her.
Thanks but I couldn’t do it without two great teachers; a Peruvian and a Cuban, what more can I say! Although, I just dance because I like dancing; I don’t want to be a professional dancer but I would like to move to the rhythm of the song and I think I’ve accomplished that with you. Sometimes that’s the problem with salsa teachers these days, I think, they teach as if all their students want to compete at the final of the Grand Salsa Championships of the World.

Doris Angela Maria has presented Salsa dancing for our community outdoor dance program for West Vancouver Cultural Services for four years. This class had had over 100 people attend each weekly class over the period from June through August. I have also been one of DorisAngela Maria’s students for years and I have personally experienced her superior teaching methods.
